Employee Training & Registration Fees Expense 6355 Expenditures for employees to attend external workshops, seminars and other educational activities outside Cornell. Use 6356 for Cornell workshops/training. Use: Use for outside professional development including continuing education, TC3, CPA units, etc. University-sponsored workshops, seminars and other educational activities for employees should be coded 6356.
Interdept - Training Program Fees Expense 6356 Expenditures for on campus training. (CIT, Human Resources, DFS) Use: Expenditures, including registration fees, for employees or other members of the Cornell community to attend training presented by Cornell.
Other General Expense Expense 6360 Expenditures that can not be properly classified under any other general expense code. Use: Use of this code must be infrequent.
Prizes - Non-Student Expense 6367 Prizes or awards for individuals other than CU students. E.g. CU administers a national award for the best play, and issues a payment to an author not at Cornell. Caution: prize payments to CU employees must go through the payroll system using a compensation object code. Use: prizes for non-students.
Recruitment - Athletic Expense 6370 Expenditures for dining, housing, and travel expenses related to Athletics recruiting. Use: Use limited to the Athletics Department.

Intersession - Athletics Expenses Expense 6380 Expenditures for meals, for participants in a sponsored Athletics activity. Use: Use limited to the Athletics Department.
Hosted Events-Conferences and Seminars Expense 6385 Costs associated with presenting a program or event by Cornell, including both on- and off campus events. Use: Any cost associated with an on or off campus event including space, speaker, refreshments. E.g. money spent to present the Annual Topology Workshop. Sponsor the Computational Finance Conference in NYC, open to all.
Interdept -Hosted Events, Conf & Seminar Expense 6386 Interdepartmental expenses associated with presenting a program or event by Cornell. Revenue to other department must also use an interdepartmental object code. Use: Any interdepartmental costs associated with an on campus event including space and refreshments.
Donation From Cornell Expense 6390 Use for contributions from Cornell to a outside entity OR used for the movement of funds to Independent Student Organizations on the EO chart. Use: Contributions over $500 must be approved by Community Relations Office. Approval is not needed when funding ISO's (limited to use by Student and Academic Services). Payments in lieu of flowers should be coded to 6420.
