Many students receive financial aid packages while attending undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools. These packages can consist of student jobs, loans, and other elements of financial aid, such as scholarships, fellowships, grants, and travel awards.
Unfortunately, tax reporting and withholding issues related to student financial aid are often complicated and confusing. This website contains general information intended to help student taxpayers understand these tax issues.
