Fiscal Year 2016 (FY16), which concluded in June, was an exciting one for Alliance for Diversity and Inclusion (ADI) initiatives, and the current year is already shaping up to go to a higher level.

The Summer Student Intern Program led by the Alliance for Diversity and Inclusion (ADI), for fiscal year 2016, had the highest diverse participation since the program’s inception in 2008. Of the 19 interns hired, the participants were 47 percent female and 63 percent diverse.

At Cornell, diversity is defined as the existence of multiple different and complex social identities and issues in society or a space.
