Supplies - Farm and Garden Expense 6510 Expenditures for farm and garden supplies and materials, including fertilizer, pesticides, and seed. Use: External vendors of farm and garden supplies and materials, including fertilizer, pesticides, and seed.
Academic - Instructor Expense 5110 Salary for non-tenure track instruction staff (job profile codes 10485, 10486, 10487, 10511,10512). Max fringe rate -- see KFS Labor Distribution Table Labor Benefits Calculation table for fringe rate %
UBIT- Unrelated Business Income Tax Expense 6146 Expenditures for Unrelated Business Income Tax. Use: Unrelated Business Income Tax. DFS Use Only
FIN AID-Health Insurance-Grad Fellowship Expense 8128 Payment of student health insurance premium and health fee for CU graduate fellows and trainees. Normally paid via the Student Financial System (Peoplesoft). Excludes payments for graduate assistants, professional and non-degree students. Use: graduate fellowship and trainee health insurance premium and fee.
Interdept - Postage Expense 6644 Interdepartmental expenditures for postage services. Cornell providers only. Use: Cornell mail services
Intersession - Athletics Expenses Expense 6380 Expenditures for meals, for participants in a sponsored Athletics activity. Use: Use limited to the Athletics Department.
Cost of Benefits - Retirement Expense 5902 Used for payroll generated entries for the university's expense for contribution to the Endowed employees' retirement plan. Also used to record vendor expenses, such as consulting, related to retirement plans. DFS/HR use only.
Extension/Vet Assistant, Grad (EA/VA) Expense 5520 Salary for Graduate Extension/Vet Assistant positions only (job profile code 11034). Zero fringe rate
Cost Share - INRS Expense 9939 Cost Share object code for INRS level. System use only.

Services - Medical and Health Care Expense 6624 Expenditures for medical services provided by outside vendors. Use: Contractual agreements with medical providers to cover students medical needs off campus. i.e Cornell in Washington. Any medical expenses related to travel should be coded to travel, 6750/6760.
Overtime Expense 5360 Paid overtime for all non-exempt non-student employees. Min fringe rate -- see KFS Labor Distribution Table Labor Benefits Calculation table for fringe rate %
Participant Support - Fees Expense 9098 Fees to enable an individual's participation in a formal university conference or training project as defined in 2 CFR 200.75. Fees paid by the participant may include laboratory fees, passport/visa fees for foreign participants, or registration fees. Example REU, MARC, RET programs. Excluded from MTDC.
