After two years of planning and preparation we are pleased to announce that T-Mobile has a new campus cell site on the roof of Bradfield Hall that went on the air on February 21, 2017. Cornell’s cellular team worked with T-Mobile on cell site selection, site planning, site agreement (between Cornell and T-Mobile), site permitting, and site preparation.
The site will improve T-Mobile’s core campus coverage extending from the Vet Medical Center, to the Engineering and Sciences Quads and to North Campus. T-Mobile users should also experience improved in-building coverage in buildings adjacent to Bradfield Hall.
With the addition of this site, Cornell continues to build on a long-standing initiative – which is to work with the wireless carriers (i.e. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless) to deliver the latest in wireless services and technologies to the Cornell campus.
