We recently partnered with our copy paper and office supplies preferred supplier, W. B. Mason, to conduct a campus campaign to reduce the purchase of virgin (non-recycled) paper on the Ithaca campus. This endeavor supports the Sustainable Campus Purchasing program, which encourages purchasing from suppliers that are committed to sustainability. Procurement Services leads the President’s Sustainable Campus Committee Purchasing Focus Team.
Craig Garland, our W. B. Mason sales representative, this spring is visiting the top 75 purchasers of virgin paper on campus to provide samples of sustainable products offered by W. B. Mason, including 30% and 100% recycled paper and kitchen supply products. Multi-function copiers and printers provided by Eastern Managed Print Network and Ricoh USA are compatible for use with recycled paper.
