We are pleased to announce that three of Cornell’s suppliers have been certified by New York State as Woman-owned Business Enterprises.
We work actively with diverse suppliers to encourage them to obtain NYS certification, not only to support the university’s diversity initiative, Toward New Destinations, but also to help Cornell comply with applicable state, federal, sponsor, and university requirements for procuring goods and services when funds from sponsored sources are used. Many sponsors require that grantees make efforts to utilize small, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses whenever possible.
