Southwest Airlines and Marriott International travel rates and rewards

We are excited to announce exclusive rewards and rates from Southwest Airlines and Marriott International for Cornell travelers.

Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards

As a Cornell business traveler, you can earn Rapid Rewards® bonus points when booking and flying Southwest between September 1 and October 31, 2024.

To get these bonus points:

  1. Enroll in Southwest’s Rapid Rewards program. If you already have a rewards account for your personal use, you can use that one instead!
  2. Add the rewards program to your Concur account. See Step 6 on our Completing Travel Preferences page.
  3. Book your Southwest Airlines flight for business travel in Concur and take your trip by October 31.

These rewards are not available to non-business travelers, students, or retirees.

Marriott International Business Rates and Leisure Travel Benefits

Marriott International’s North American and Canadian hotels are offering an exclusive Marriott Preferred Business Rate (PDF)* to Cornell University business travelers on reservations booked and completed before December 31, 2024.

Cornell employees are also invited to enjoy leisure discounts (see Employee Personal Purchase Discounts*) and instant Marriott Bonvoy™ Silver Elite (PDF)* status and benefits.
