New Travel user interface launches Feb. 13

Posted: February 11, 2025

A new user experience for the Concur Travel module will go live for Cornell users on February 13. The new interface features a refreshed, modern design consistent with the Expense and Request modules. It provides an updated booking experience, enhanced search capabilities, and consistency across mobile and desktop versions.

The new interface offers a booking experience that feels more like shopping. It’s similar to popular sites such as Expedia. Some key features include:

  • Simplified Trip Search options.
  • Clearer sustainability information for all listings, with an upgraded CO2e emissions calculation.
  • Enhanced filtering options for search results, including:
    • For airlines, filter by carriers, number of stops, and departure times. Use the matrix view to compare flights.
    • For car rentals, filter by car type (e.g., hybrid, electric, etc.).
  • Improved data displays and functions, such as:
  • For airlines, view seating maps vertically and select seats, and see flight amenities and images of the on-board experience.
  • For hotels, see booking options on an enhanced interactive map, and view hotel interiors, sustainability features, amenities, and cancelation policies.
  • For car rentals, view a map of rental pickup locations.

To preview some of these changes, check out this video.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Cornell Concur Support Team
