A new user experience for the Concur Travel module will go live for Cornell users on February 13. The new interface features a refreshed, modern design consistent with the Expense and Request modules. It provides an updated booking experience, enhanced search capabilities, and consistency across mobile and desktop versions.
The new interface offers a booking experience that feels more like shopping. It’s similar to popular sites such as Expedia. Some key features include:
- Simplified Trip Search options.
- Clearer sustainability information for all listings, with an upgraded CO2e emissions calculation.
- Enhanced filtering options for search results, including:
- For airlines, filter by carriers, number of stops, and departure times. Use the matrix view to compare flights.
- For car rentals, filter by car type (e.g., hybrid, electric, etc.).
- Improved data displays and functions, such as:
- For airlines, view seating maps vertically and select seats, and see flight amenities and images of the on-board experience.
- For hotels, see booking options on an enhanced interactive map, and view hotel interiors, sustainability features, amenities, and cancelation policies.
- For car rentals, view a map of rental pickup locations.
