A debt rating is an assessment of the credit worthiness of a corporation's debt issues. The ratings assigned by credit rating agencies, such as Moody's Investors Service, Standard & Poor's (S&P), and Fitch, Inc., have letter designations, such as AAA, B, CC. The university is rated only by Moody's and S&P.
