Get travel reimbursements faster with direct deposit

Posted: January 3, 2024

If you currently get your reimbursements for travel or out-of-pocket expenses from Cornell by check, consider getting reimbursed faster by enrolling in direct deposit. Reduce the wait and have your reimbursement electronically deposited to your checking or savings account. It’s simple to sign up!

Direct deposit benefits:

  • Receive an email notification when Cornell sends funds to your checking or savings account.
  • Get deposits faster. Direct deposits are issued daily, Monday through Friday, while checks are only mailed twice per week.
  • Eliminate trips to the bank to cash or deposit checks and lost or misplaced checks.
  • Help the environment! Direct deposit is a more sustainable way to receive your funds.

For information on how to enroll, visit the Direct Deposit for Reimbursements page.

Can’t remember if you already signed up? Contact the Shared Services Center.
