Scheduled Service Change - Canvas LMS data retention - deleting courses older than 6 years

<div>On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 5-7am, IT Teaching &amp; Learning Services will be performing annual data retention activities in the Canvas learning management system (LMS). We will be deleting 8987 courses that are older than 6 years (encompassing the 2020SP term and older). Instructors have been informed since May 15, 2026, that these courses were pending deletion.
