<div>Update: CIT and Cornell Public Safety continue to work with external vendors to investigate the partial emergency phone service outage. A temporary repair is in place and calls from blue light phones, elevator phones, and emergency phones will connect to the Public Safety Communications Center. Until the issue is completely resolved, callers may be asked to provide phone location.<br><br>A workaround was put in place so calls are being properly routed to CUPD. The case has been escalated. Root cause is still being investigated. <br><br>Calls placed from emergency phones, elevator phones, and blue light phones may not connect successfully to DPS dispatchers, or may disconnect during the call.</div><div> </div><div>Ring Central Desktop app for Windows and Mac OS, RC Mobile App and all Ring Central physical phones are NOT impacted.</div>
