Performance Issue - Microsoft 365 Email Messages Incorrectly Quarantined

However, they are proceeding to release incorrectly quarantined email messages back to users’ inboxes to fully remediate the incident's impact.<br><br>Previously, Microsoft announced that inbound email messages are being incorrectly quarantined with false alerts in Exchange Online. This resulted from their detection metrics for phishing or spam email messages falsely targeting legitimate email messages. They have adjusted the detection metrics to prevent this from occurring for future email messages, and are releasing affected email messages that were incorrectly quarantined back to users’ inboxes.</div>
