Elective Tuition Refund Plan
We are offering an Elective Tuition Refund Plan in partnership with A.W.G. Dewar. This plan covers up to 85% of your tuition if you need to withdraw due to a qualifying illness or accident. It can provide significant financial relief in such situations. Please apply by August 25, 2025, the first day of classes, if you wish to enroll for the fall semester.This policy is optional. Fall Stipends Available
Students appointed on a university fellowship should receive their stipends within the first few days of the first day of classes of that semester. Ph.D. students appointed on university fellowships should receive their fall 2025 stipends by August 26, 2025. Fellowship funding is a source of financial aid for enrolled doctoral students. A student must be enrolled for the semester in which they will receive the funds. If you have not received your fellowship stipend by August 27 then contact your graduate field administrator or grad_funding@cornell.edu to ask for an update. Paper checks take 7-10 days to arrive in the Office of the Bursar.
